Surface

Natural Light Editorial / Leo Carrillo / Ben Sasso

Something I’ve always loved the most in the art that inspires me is that the deeper I look, the more I find. Some meaning is on the surface but there’s so much more to be discovered for those who want to put the effort into finding it. That’s whats this shoot is all about. Using the mirrors as a nod to the fact that art should reflect the artist and those that inspire him/her, and using the amount of skin showing to represent the amount of meaning that’s on the surface (and how much more is buried underneath). I don’t want to to create surface level art, I want to create art that people can interact with.
