Gold Coast

Β Time for some honesty. All artists struggle. So if you are in a rut and think you are the only one who ever feels that way, don’t worry. You aren’t alone. I’ve spent the few weeks before this shoot trying and failing to create something that I’m proud of but as soon as I stepped on set for this shoot in Malibu I knew that it would be rut-ender. So if you are in a rut and think you are the only one who ever feels that way, don’t worry. You will get past it. Welcome to artist life.

It would be so cool if you would share Your cammera settings under every picture πŸ™‚ Or somehow when you touch a picture with a mouse you can see settings πŸ™‚

Nice post. Great reminder that not all things come easy but when you work at it, you can accomplish what you have set out to do. Sick portraits by the way. Love the warm tones and how the light just wraps around her.

Love your work. Was wondering if you shoot wide open mainly? also, did you use glass or a piece of material to create the circle bokeh on the right of one of these portraits? amazing, and inspiring stuff.

    • Thanks Cathrine! These were all shot around F/2 and for some of them I used a little textured plastic piece to create those little bits of blur.
