tip:

There are some pretty great tricks out there for avoiding sessions like this where your couple gives you nothing but smiles. One of my favorites is to start the shoot by being excited about what you're creating and then to slowly (but noticeably) fade into being disappointed. They should be able to feel your frustration and hopefully that will help their smiles fade away into the night.

    Hi

do you shoot on auto white balance and also do you correct the white balance ^go to the green side or blue magenta etc to correct it? Or do you correct it on pp after?..

    Thanks ben

    • Hi Totie! I use AWB when shooting because it gives me one less thing to fidget with on set. Since I shoot RAW, I can adjust a much as needed in post without losing any image quality.

Awesome set!!!! What lenses did you use for this shoot? Looks like you have a nice balance between wide and telephoto.

Hi, love this shoot. You said un Your tip To shoot underexposed to have mOre info…i have seen and have been said to overexpose 2 STEPS IN HIGH LIGHTS… TO TAKE THE HISTOGRAM TO THE RIGHT WHERE THE SENSOR HAS MORE INFO…
    Am i doing wrong???

Thanks for your tips, It helps a lot.

    Bye from Spain!

    • Thanks Fran! If you overexpose in digital then you’ll lose some detail. Underexposure or “proper” exposure will retain more detail than overexposure.
