Christine and Cody : Joshua Tree

You know that feeling where you’re so in love that you just have to wander around the desert cuddling the life out of each other?

tip:

Let Them Sink In! Think about how your position when you sit in a chair changes over time. At first you might be a bit more "proper." After a few minutes, maybe you lean back a bit. A few more and you're in full on lounge mode. Time forces us to get more comfortable. Put your couple in a pose, shoot for a few, and then say something like "I'm going to go switch lens so you guys can just sink into that." When you walk away, they'll naturally adjust to get a bit more comfortable by the time you get back. Now they're more natural looking and they've sunk into a pose that's even more unique to them! Boom!

Here I am at 3:45am, creating a presentation and writing a research paper on your work, and a new blog post pops up. You’re making it pretty difficult for me to only decide on 10 images to use.

As always, the light is gorgeous, the atmosphere is so warm (not in temperature judging by their clothing), whether that’s due to your editing or their captured emotion, I don’t know. The feeling I’m getting from this is like that from European Nivea commercials, except it’s genuine.

I love the ideas you’ve had with the mirrors. Both in this set and the previous, Surface, it’s almost as if they’re looking back at themselves philosophically, at what they’ve been through, and what they will go through in the future. Or more CONTEMPORARILY, taking a selfie with a mirror.

    Keep up the fantastic work!
