FOREST RANGERS
I am SO excited to finally share this shoot! This past spring has been one of my busiest seasons yet with weddings, editorials, teaching, and speaking as well as an exciting change (to be announced) that I have been planning for. In the midst of all of that, I have had this shoot floating around my head and I am thrilled to have finally put it together. We shot in one of my favorite Los Angeles locations with Brook (Ford Models) and Laura (Wilhelmina and Q Models). As usual, Thanks to my favorite makeup artist and hairstylist, Rachel Burney.

These are absolutely gorgeous. Were the majority taken with a 35 1.4? I’ve been wanting to get one but i’ve been so hesitant, but these might’ve just done me in.
Yep! I would highly suggest it. If you don’t like it, you can always return it. If I could only own one lens, it would be my 35.

How much post if done on their skin on face. Trying to figure out methods of getting smooth skintones in camera. I guess just blast it with light right?
Hey Tyler! Just some light retouching in Photoshop (with the healing brush). A good amount of light helps but be careful not to overexpose (unless you are using film). Hope that helps!

This is absolutely stunning. The models are gorgeous! I did an inspiration shoot from Moonrise Kingdom so I was immediately blown away by these images. I love the entire look. Makeup and hair are spot on. Great work!
