Intimate Session : Phil and Sara
Back in February I had the honor of speaking out in Barcelona (massive thanks to Katch for translating my talk!), and the friendship of these two was one of the best things to come out of that trip. Sure… great photographers, but more importantly, Phil and Sara are 100% good people. Head to toe. Brain to heart. So thankful for the impact they have on the photo community and the impact they’ve had on me.
Phil, Sara, Katch and I all got half naked and shot each other the day before we flew home from Spain. Like normal people do.

I'm a huge fan of indirect front light when I'm shooting indoors. For most of the shots in this session, I had a window behind me with soft light pouring into it. That left Phil and Sara basking in luminous front light. Because of the red floors, I also had laid out some of our neutral colored clothes on the ground to stop red light from bouncing back into them.
1. Read the light.
2. Use the good light to your advantage.
3. Neutralize the bad light.
4. Bam.
Man these are epic, you are epic, they are epic. Epicness all round 🙂
