Melissa and Josh : Intimate Session
Well hello there! I’ll be brief and let you dig in. Melissa and Josh celebrated their 1 year anniversary with this little intimate, in-home session at their new place in Portland. We hung out, listened to some music, and I tied them in as many knots as I could.

Thanks Nitin! I edited these with my Heck Yeah Presets (bright 3). Most of the work for getting these tones comes in from the soft, even light and the minimal colors in the image. I have a free lighting class ( lighting.bensasso.com ) that will help you nail that look!
WOW, BEN! THESE ARE BEAUTIFUL! WHAT LENS DID YOU USE FOR THE SUPER-DUPER UP-CLOSE IMAGES?
Thanks Ella! Those are a mix of the 50L and 35L.
So true about using hands to frame Ben! This has definitely been a focus for me to work into poses more. Definitely gives that candid lost-in-the-moment play-wrestling kinda feel aha. Thanks so much for sharing!
