Sorry to confuse you all, but I’ve been playing in hard light a lot lately. I know, not what you’re used to from me but there’s a fine and dangerous line between being consistent and putting out the same work week after week. Consistency for the sake of consistency is just silly. If your tastes change, your work should change with it. Well mine are evolving, so here you go!
Also, edited this full set with my Bright 3 preset from my Heck Yeah Bright Pack!
some of these are iconically your style and some are entirely new. the use of shadows in this is completely new but so beautiful. posing/tones/etc is still great buti think an area you’ve mentioned being weak in (composition) is actually brilliant in this set.
Hi, Awesome work! You know, keeping your work consistent is one of the rules you try following, but remember that rules are created to brake them! And you nailed it! BTW, what lens did you use?
Thanks Simone! I used the 50L, 35L and 24L for these!
I love these ben. While they’re a departure from your usual style they still feel like you, if that makes sense?
i have looked up to you for so many years, thank you for taking pictures and blessing peoples eyes
This is beautiful!
Bro, thanks for the INSPIRATION this morning! I love your work, and seeing your style with this variation is really great! something which really stands out to me is your incredible skills to balance your dynamic range. contrast without darkness. Ace!
This is absolute magic. Is it possible to be in love with a photoset?
Oh I love these. the colours & tones, like honey & cream. The fifth image from the top is my very favourite. what a beautiful space, is it a barn?
did you spot meter for the brightest highlights and add a stop?
Incredible. Always love your work. ThEse posEs and compositiOns Are Flawless.
These are the most interesting photos you have produced yet. They draw on the best of your skills and your classic look with the back lighting, but they are way more dynamic, challenging and interesting for the viewer. To be able to produce dynamic shots in hard light is taking things to the next level. Really impressive – keep it up!
You blow me away each and every time you post something new. The amount that I have learnt from you in the last year is unbelievable.
not only are you a phenomenal photographer, you are also a great educator.
thank you for inspiring me, and picking me up each time I feel like I’ve lost motivation.
keep up the amazing work!
Lovely shoot! I love the combination of lights!!! just great Ben!
