Shooting sessions in homes filled with windows is as rad as it is confusing. A blessing and a curse. Tons windows means plenty of natural light, but also plenty of weird shadows from furniture, funky light spots from reflections, etc. An easy way to fix that is to lower the contrast a bit more when editing. That lowers the difference between the bright areas and the dark areas, leaving you with a more evenly lit image. Or at least the illusion of one. It's all an illusion anyways.
