Miriam and Eduardo : Canary Islands
It’s always such a flattering thing to be asked to speak at workshops and conferences! This set was shoot during a shoot I led at the Wolves Workshop out on La Graciosa. I honestly can’t say enough about how rad this one was. It’s a blast, full of education, and it’s run by a killer group of people.
Edited with my Heck Yeah Presets (Bright 3)!
tip:
this is so pretty. the feelings you captured are so natural and comfortable. I love the setting. La Graciosa is on my list pf places to visit! i hope you and katch come to Mallorca one day – we have space for your camper van!
Wahou… just incredible !! Thank you so much for sharing !! This is a great inspiration, as always with you !
Beautiful series Ben. Love the movement you’ve captured in her dress and hair. What sort of shutter speeds were you managing to shoot at?
Actually just noticed the ‘tip’ think thats pretty much answered my question 🙂
Thanks for the homework, I will make it 😉 Cheers from hungary
Stunning job as usual ben! on the 5th image her face looks a bit distorded due to the use of the 35mm (i guess) close and subject not centered, and on the 8th image her dress blends with the background which is a bit distracting. the colours, expression and motion blur are incredible, killer job!
Dude, that is a rad tip actually.
That’s a great piece of advice. These shots have a dream like quality. their skin looks so creamy. Any tips there?
Thanks Derryn! Great skin tones start with great light. For me, that means clean (free of any color casts reflecting off of their surroundings, like green trees, pink walls, etc), and even (soft, and non-directional which keeps shadows, etc to a minimum).
Absolutely stunning photoshoot. Hi from Provence!
This is cool! Will definitely try!
Love these images, and I appreciate the tip — I’ve definitely wanted to get more into movement in my images so this is a great challenge for my next shoot. Thanks Ben!!
