Julia and Yuriy : Rialto Beach
Julia and Yuriy + Rialto Beach + foggy goodness = awesome. It’s just simple math really. These two are ridiculously talented creatives and it was so much fun to collaborate with them, and camp out on the beach afterwards! Shooting, camping, exploring, and creating rad things. Hells yes!
I included a little tip for shooting in foggy/overcast conditions down at the bottom.Enjoy!
tip:
Ugh these are so good! well done.
Wow, these are incredible. Definitely one of my favorite of your shoots. Keep up the great work and thanks for the tips!
Keep bringing me this good stuff TO covet! Big fan MATE!!!!
Awesome Ben! Your work is such a joy. Also, Great timing with this tip as we head into this AUstralian winter – heaps of fog over my waY 🙂
This is such a beautiful couples session…love the tones and natural feeling in such a stunning location.
tHIS IS PROBABLY MY FAVORITE SESSION IVE SEEN BY YOU. lOVING THE VIVID COLORS, COOL TONES, AND NATURAL LOOK.
Wow. Did you suggest the colors they wore?
Not for this one actually!
Splendid really. The vibrant colors of their clothes with the subtle colors of the background go incredibly well.
So beautiful. I lOve the colors againstbthe white….gorgeous.
Ben, these are so wonderful. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You have some real talent, friend!
Hi Ben! I love the cool, light and airy light that you have here in these photos. I always seem to struggle with white BALANCED exposure on my photos and getting such clean shots as these. Any tips on setting your camera’s settings up for a good, clean, airy shot or is it mostly in post processing for you? THanks! P.S. What presets did you use on these?
Thanks so much! I’d actually suggest practicing lighting, that’s what will help you with that clean airy feel. I have a free lighting class at Lighting.BenSasso.com. Hope that helps!
love this session so much! I am trying to decide between your ART pack and your bright pack for presets. do you REMEMBER which pack you used to process this session? I love the richness of the colors, and it’s bright but not overpowering. which pack of your presets do you use the most in general? thank you!!
Hi Lisa! Thanks for the kind words! The preset that I use most and that’s modeled after my style is Bright 3. Keep in mind that this was a foggy session so the look you’re seeing that you might be drawn to could be because of the soft foggy haze :).
